OACC is a part of a national network of Area Consultative Committees funded by the Australian Government. OACC’S region covers 118,000 square kilometres located in far west New South Wales. Our core function is to work in partnership with local business, community and government organizations to stimulate opportunities for the sustainable economic and social growth of regional communities, OACC focuses on:
• Generating jobs - through innovative local projects and industry initiatives
• Supporting small business - by providing information on resources and services
• Being a community voice - giving advice and feedback to Government on community needs, service and development
requirements.
OACC offers the following services:
• Assistance with applying for project funding under the Australian Government’s Regional Partnerships Program.
• Provides a free grant E-Newsletter on a monthly basis.
• Provides support to projects and initiatives that generate economic and social development in the region.
•A service is available for any individual or business seeking access to:
• Government information services
• Professional development.
