The Role of Youth Enterprise Services (YES) Youth Enterprise Services is supported by the Foundation for Young Australians and the NSW Department of State and Regional Development and the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC).
YES objectives are:
Awareness - Emphasizing the benefits of entrepreneurship and self employment.
Instilling in the minds of regional youth that owning a business is possible and rewarding for themselves, their peers and their community.
Support - Young people curious about business will be able to access information and advice with ease, using mediums that work best for them. Youth already in business will have a support base of other young business people, as well as access to the right people, skills and training.
Education- Young people wanting to further their business skills and their businesses in general will have ways to access the education needed.
